Well I wouldn\'t recnmmeod staying near the airport unless you\'re only going for a short time. Stay in the middle of all the action! I stayed at Hotel Pennsylvania one time. It\'s one of the biggest hotels and it\'s pretty cheap. Overall, it wasn\'t bad. It\'s right across from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station and a short walk to Times Square. My advice is don\'t stay at some random place that no one\'s ever heard of and make sure you research the place and read some consumer reviews! Try to pick a place that is close to where you will want to be for most of your trip.
